The Augusta BioBusiness Center is a life sciences business incubator that aims to assist
medical device, bioinformatics, medical software, tele-medicine,
and biotech start-up companies.
The ABBC was established by the Georgia Medical Center
Authority to promote the development of start-up life sciences
companies and to stimulate entrepreneurial activities in
the Augusta region by providing advanced facilities, equipment,
technical know-how and support services.
The Augusta BioBusiness Center provides facilities, equipment
and services to new companies through grants, local government
support and GMCA funds. The facilities contain wet and
dry laboratories, offices, conference rooms, kitchen and
mail/copy room.
