The Georgia Medical Center Authority (GMCA) elected its officers for FY2006. Mr. Randy Hall takes over as chairman, Dr. Daniel Rahn as vice chairman, Mr. Patrick Blanchard as treasurer, and Ms. Charlene Sizemore as secretary.

Governor Sunny Perdue announced the appointment of members to the Georgia Medical Center (GMCA) Board of Directors. The new members include Dr. William G. Brundage, president of the Herty Foundation, Savannah, GA and Mr. Patrick G. Blanchard, president and chief executive officer of Georgia-Carolina Bancshares, Inc. and vice chairman of its subsidiary, First Bank of Georgia, Augusta, GA.
Other members of the board include, Mr. Randy Hall, partner in the law firm of Warlick, Tritt, Stebbins & Hall, Augusta, GA Mr. Roger Bryd of R. Byrd & Associates, Atlanta, GA Mr. Jack Connell, Retired State Representative, Augusta, GA Dr. Daniel Rahn, president, Medical College of Georgia and, Ms. Charlene Sizemore, President of Sizemore, Inc., Augusta, GA.
