| The GMCA strives to become a full support organization for life
sciences companies within the state and build a presence within the
community through steady development and dissemination of its service
programs through partnerships with local and state organizations,
professional entities and universities.
The responsibilities of the GMCA include:
• Issuing revenue bonds state-wide for life sciences R&D
and manufacturing facilities.

Developing and implementing incubator facilities and programs to
grow life science companies in Georgia.
•
Supporting companies that are graduating out of incubators
by providing facilities and programs.
•
Establishing business development programs to support life sciences
companies.
•
Developing programs to increase cooperation between medical centers
conducting clinical studies.
•
Facilitating regional and statewide development of research and
industrial parks.
